Uga Carlini is a classically trained actress (BA Drama, University of Stellenbosch) working between Canada and Cape Town. She began her career in front of the camera before transitioning into directing and producing internationally recognized and award-winning works. 

Her most recent on-screen role was in the multi-nominated Afrikaans teen fantasy series ‘Spooksoeker’ (Showmax), based on the books by François Bloemhof, shortly before relocating to North America.

Alongside her acting career, Uga is the founder of Towerkop Creations (est. 2010) and a member of the PGA, CMPA, WGSA and DGC.
