Inez Robertson is a South African actor and writer based in Cape Town. She has starred in several short films such as ekstasis (2021), directed by Emilie Badenhorst and Kanya Viljoen and the bio-fiction film Seasons of Longing (2024) directed by Robyn Phillips. She appears as Emma Louw in Ian Gabriel’s political thriller Death of a Whistleblower, which premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in 2023. As a writer, she was a selected participant in the 2020 Woordfees Writer's Laboratory and the 2021 Woordfees Artist’s Week. In 2022 she was the recipient of the Writer’s Guild of South Africa’s Muse Award for Best Emerging Writer & Best Short Film Spec Script for Soap .
