Having somehow survived a classic French sous-chef internship at the splendid French Fiddler Restaurant in Johannesburg South Africa in the late 1970’s, but with itchy feet and a propensity for theatrics, pranks and showing off, Nick propelled himself into the sweaty trenches of film making during the day and the alluring world of musical theatre by night.
Dovetailing his acting passion with his career as an internationally rated First Assistant Director and specialist big-crowd performance director, he has worked on Features, TV Series and many, many hundreds of commercials over 40 years, shooting a multitude of global brands.
An established character actor, he has, over the years - played a number of leading and supporting roles in films and series. A trained classical tenor, Nick started out as an actor in musical theatre in 1978, playing leading character / singing roles in Brickhill Burke Productions at His Majesty’s Theatre in Johannesburg and on tour around South Africa. 1979 brought him his first acting role on television and over the years he has played several leading roles in features, TV drama’s & series, including many corporate and training videos.
